Benny

Benny is a handsome 4–4.5-year-old neutered male Australian Cattle Dog mix who weighs between 45–50 pounds. He's a super sweet boy with a love for water and a personality that's both playful and fun-loving! Benny ended up in a shelter through no fault of his own. He's a social butterfly with other medium to large dogs, both male and female, and has even been known to play peacemaker if he senses tension. While he was previously adopted, he was returned due to introductions with another male dog not going as planned. In his current foster home, he has had no issues playing appropriately with dogs his size and larger. We're not sure how he'd do with cats. Benny also rides well in the car and doesn't get anxious when left home alone. His absolute favorite activity, besides splashing in the pool, is playing frisbee – he's a pro at leaping and catching it mid-air! He's smart, handsome, and ready for an active, playful home. Benny has a medium energy level; he's not hyper, but he does enjoy running, jumping, and engaging in fun activities.

Ideal Home

Benny would thrive in an active, playful home. He would be happy as an only dog or with a compatible canine companion. He cannot be tied out or use an electric fence.

Ongoing Health

Benny is up to date on vaccinations and is heartworm negative.

Benny is crate trained and fully potty trained.
