Meet Avi Baba, a 4-year-old English Bulldog with the heart of an adventurer and the soul of a house hippo. This spunky girl is full of personality and athleticism that might surprise you. She can launch herself into the air with impressive hops and spins, earning comparisons to "Air Jaws," and rumor has it she once leaped off a deck to chase down a bird. Needless to say, Avi has a bit of a prey drive and loves keeping an eye on the world around her. Despite her athletic side, Avi is just as happy settling in for a long nap, transforming into the perfect cuddly couch companion. Her coat is incredibly soft—more like a stuffed animal than a bulldog—and she has no known skin issues or allergies, making her as low-maintenance as she is lovable. Avi is a wonderful walking partner. She strolls calmly on leash, taking in the sights without paying much attention to other dogs or children. However, if another dog decides to bark at her—especially the little yappy ones—Avi isn't shy about offering her opinion right back and letting them know she won't be pushed around.
Ideal Home
Avi will need to be in a home with no children, as she has shown some territorial behavior towards them. Her history with other dogs has been mixed, and she would do best in a home with no other dogs. Because she is territorial and has a prey drive, she would most likely not do well living with cats and other pets.
