Carbon is a 78-pound bundle of love with absolutely no idea how big he is! He believes that every person he meets is a friend just waiting for a shower of kisses. Carbon is incredibly gentle, leaning into your legs for pets and melting into your arms for affection. Despite his size, he's a true lap dog who will wrap you in the sweetest hugs and make you feel like the most important person in the world. His foster family discovered he's a husky/pitty mix with a charcoal-black coat that feels like velvet. Carbon is happy to accompany you to work, quietly snoozing under your desk, or he can be the ultimate work-from-home companion. He loves toys, especially stuffed animals, and enjoys playing with his foster siblings. Carbon gets along wonderfully with all dogs, but his true joy comes from human interaction. We're unsure how he'd do with cats, but with his gentle nature, we're optimistic!
Ideal Home
Carbon dreams of a home where he can be part of a family. A fenced yard would be a bonus for playtime, but his greatest joy will be simply being wherever you are, whether that's a big house or a cozy apartment.

Transportation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
