Whiskey is a 4-year-old, 105lb Bully breed blend with a heart of gold and a love for snacks! He's an easy-going, friendly guy who arrived at the shelter weighing 121 lbs. Thanks to some dedicated care, he's already down to 105 lbs and is eager to continue his weight-loss journey. Whiskey is treat-motivated, making him a fantastic candidate for learning new tricks! He's a playful pup who enjoys tug-of-war and squeaky toys. When it's time to relax, he loves cuddling up for movie nights, especially if there's popcorn involved! He's potty-trained and knows commands like sit, stay, down, come, and shake. Whiskey melts for baby talk and being called a good boy, and he'll repay your kindness with unwavering loyalty.

Ideal Home

Whiskey would thrive with a family or person committed to continuing his weight-loss journey. While he hasn't been tested with children, shelter staff believe he may do well with respectful kids. Cats and other small animals are not recommended.

Ongoing Health

Whiskey has a torn ACL that will need to be addressed by his adopter. He also needs to continue with his weight-loss plan. All rescue dogs are vaccinated, altered, and micro-chipped.

Training & Support

Whiskey is a foodie, which will be a great asset in training! He knows several basic commands and loves to please. Continue reinforcing his training with positive reinforcement and plenty of praise.
