Krockett

Krockett is a male Labrador mix, approximately 1 year old and weighing around 55 lbs. He was rescued in March 2024 and is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. Krockett is a loving, loyal, intelligent, and happy dog who always seems to be smiling! He's a playful, joyful, and energetic companion who would be thrilled to join a family that enjoys an active lifestyle and outdoor adventures. Krockett is already crate and leash trained, and he's a great passenger on car rides.

Ideal Home

Krockett would thrive in a home with a securely fenced backyard. He needs an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. Adopters should have an open mind and heart regarding the needs of rescued animals, understanding their journey and the importance of patience and education. Experience with dog behavior and training is preferred, as is a high level of tolerance and patience for rescued puppies.

Training & Support

Krockett is not yet house-trained, and adopters should be prepared to work on this. The rescue emphasizes that they invest significant effort in the rehabilitation of rescued pets, but due to the large number of animals in foster care, they are unable to house-train each one individually. Adopters should be prepared to provide ongoing support and education for Krockett.

Transportation

Krockett is currently located in Houston, Texas. He is available for transport to the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest. A transport fee of $250.00 applies and is the responsibility of the adopter.
