This approximately 2-year-old American Staffy/Boxer mix approaches life with goofy, boxer-style enthusiasm and a happy bounce, making every day feel like the best day ever. He forms sweet bonds quickly once he feels comfortable, and once he knows you're safe, he's all about affection and cuddles. Valentino is playful, silly, and full of personality, bringing a happy presence that makes any home feel brighter. He loves toys of all kinds and is excellent at entertaining himself.
Ideal Home
Valentino dreams of a backyard where he can zoom, play with toys, sunbathe, and explore puddles or any standing water he can find. He is semi-active and would enjoy hikes, adventures, and backyard playtime. He thrives with adopters who can provide structure, consistency, and positive outlets for his happy energy.
Ongoing Health
Valentino is a rescue dog, and while his breed and exact age are a mystery, he is up-to-date on all vetting as part of the adoption fee, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has also been tested for heartworm and treated if necessary.
Training & Support
Valentino is crate trained, potty trained, smart, and eager to please. He knows commands like "sit" and is a quick learner, as seen with his enthusiastic adoption of agility ramps. He walks pretty well on leash but can still pull out of excitement. He will thrive with confident guidance and clear boundaries to help channel his enthusiasm.
