Meet Rac, the raccoony pooch! This handsome Husky mix weighs about 62 lbs and his estimated birthday is March 11, 2023. Rac got his adorable name from the cute raccoon-like markings around his eyes. He's an incredibly outgoing and happy boy who loves to play, whether it's zooming with his doggy friends or engaging in a fun toy session with his foster dad. Rac also enjoys long walks and exploring new places. While he's still learning to love car rides, he does enjoy the adventure once he's on the road! He might be a little shy at first, but with a little patience and trust, he'll be your best bud for life.
Rac was rescued during a harsh winter freeze after being found wandering with no shelter. Thankfully, his foster dad stepped in to give him a loving home and has been working with a trainer to help Rac adjust to indoor living. He's doing wonderfully in his foster home with his canine siblings, but he's a bit too energetic for the kitties. His foster dad describes him as very sweet and a big fan of attention!
Ideal Home
Rac would be happiest in an active home where he can go on hikes, play with other energetic pups, and snuggle up with his loved ones. He's eager to try new things and enjoys car rides!

Rac is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.
Training & Support
Rac is kennel and potty trained. He has been working with a trainer to help him transition from street life to indoor living and is doing great.
