Sol is a sweet, playful, and energetic 8-month-old female Labrador mix, weighing 16 lbs and expected to grow to around 32-38 lbs. She has a happy-go-lucky personality and is social with other dogs, men, women, and strangers. Sol loves to run, jump, and play with her favorite toys, especially colorful balls. She also enjoys affection and cuddles. While she may be a little cautious in new situations, she is never aggressive and does not bite. Sol is a wonderful companion for a family seeking a loving and active puppy. She is ready to grow and learn with a forever family who will provide her with plenty of love, playtime, and guidance.
Ideal Home
A home with a fenced backyard is preferred. Sol would do best with an active family that enjoys outdoor activities and is genuinely committed to rescuing a dog, understanding the needs and behaviors of street animals. Families with experience in dog behavior and training, or a willingness to hire a trainer, are ideal. High tolerance and patience are essential for this rescued puppy.
Ongoing Health
Sol has undergone a comprehensive health protocol including spay/neuter, DHPPI and Rabies vaccinations, Bordetella vaccination, deworming, microchipping, a negative 4DX test and heartworm test. She is on monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. A health certificate and vaccination booklet are provided.
Training & Support
It's important to understand that rescued dogs, like Sol, may not be house-trained and often require an adjustment period due to past experiences. Patience, understanding, and establishing a safe environment with a clear routine are crucial for building trust and helping Sol adapt to her new home.
