She's earned her peace and is looking forward to sunbeams, lots of love, and the company of her favorite people. We estimate Adamma is around 7-8 years old, possibly a chocolate lab/pittie mix, and weighs about 60 pounds. She's a chill, people-focused, no-drama girl who is past her wild puppy years and has zero interest in chaos. Adamma wants to be near her people, soak up affection, sneak a few gentle kisses, and peacefully coexist. She doesn't need a job or an adventure, just a soft place to land and a human by her side.

Ideal Home

Adamma's vision of retirement includes a little house with a little yard where she can nap in the sun and explore. She'll enjoy the stimulation of the outdoors but doesn't need long walks. Apartment living is not for her; she prefers a low-energy environment with more open space. She is social with people but prefers to be the only pet in the home, as she has shown too much interest in cats and can be a stern mama to pushy or high-energy dogs. If you have a low-key, respectful dog, it might work, but she'd also be perfectly happy as a solo dog. She would do best in a home with older, respectful children who want a companion more than a playmate.

Transporation

Adamma is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada. Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT. Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles. An additional $87 surcharge for transport will apply.
