Zac is a handsome 5-year-old, neutered Anatolian Shepherd mix who weighs around 60 pounds. He was rescued from a county shelter and has undergone FHO surgery on a rear leg due to a previous injury. Zac has healed well from the surgery and requires no further medical intervention or medication. He is a loyal and loving companion, enjoying a good balance of playful energy and relaxed cuddles. Zac is social with other dogs of all sizes, exhibiting excellent canine manners and respecting their cues. He walks calmly on leash and doesn't react to other dogs. Inside the home, Zac is a low-energy dog who loves to be near his people. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and enjoys a tasty treat to encourage him into his kennel. Zac thrives on companionship, loves attention, and will gaze lovingly into your eyes. He can be a bit of a conversationalist, especially around meal times, and his vocal personality is sure to bring a smile to your face. He has also become more comfortable with car rides. Zac enjoys toys and treats and has not shown any signs of resource guarding. While he hasn't lived with young children, his foster believes he would do well with a family willing to continue teaching him not to jump up when excited.
