Meet Sam!
This sweet hound mix is less than a year old and has already experienced more change than any young dog should. Born into an unwanted litter, Sam moved between homes before finally finding his way to us. Despite his uncertain start, he has remained a gentle soul. Sam is quiet and shy, and while he may not be the first to greet new people, his loving nature shines through with a little patience and kindness. Earning his trust is incredibly rewarding, and once he feels safe, he forms strong bonds. Sam gets along well with dogs, cats, children, and adults, making him a wonderful fit for many families. New people and situations can make him nervous at first, but he gains confidence with reassurance and time. More than anything, Sam is looking for stability. He deserves a family that will love him for the rest of his life. If you're looking for a loyal companion and have the patience to help a shy dog blossom, Sam is ready to meet you.
