Murphy

Meet Murphy, a charming Miniature Schnauzer mix who's about 2 years old and weighs 15 lbs. This handsome boy is incredibly loyal and will follow his favorite people around like a shadow – he's a true velcro pup! Murphy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and shows no prey drive, so he'd likely be just fine with cats too. He's happy to be a solo pup or share his home with canine companions; he doesn't need other dogs to feel secure. Murphy is a sweet soul just looking for a loving family to call his own. He can do well with gentle, older children, but because he can get startled by sudden noises, he's not the best fit for infants. Murphy is a minimal shedder and will require regular grooming to keep his beautiful "hair" looking its best.

Ideal Home

Murphy would do best in a home with gentle, older children and would be comfortable in a home with or without other pets. He is not a good fit for homes with infants due to his tendency to be startled by sudden noises.

Ongoing Health

Murphy is neutered and vaccinated. He does require regular grooming due to his coat type.

Training & Support

Murphy is house-trained. While he's never aggressive, he can become scared around sudden noises, so a calm environment would be ideal.
