Arabella Smith

Meet Arabella, a 6-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd weighing approximately 23 pounds. Arabella is truly one of the most gentle souls you’ll ever meet. She comes to us from a heartbreaking cruelty case where she and many other dogs were living in unimaginable, unsanitary conditions. Despite everything she has been through, Bella’s spirit remains soft, affectionate, and full of love. She is described as affectionate, chill, food-motivated, goofy, and wonderfully snuggly. She’s the kind of dog who is always ready for kisses, gentle cuddles, and simply being near her people. Bella enjoys short neighborhood strolls, taking in the world at an easy pace, and she loves meeting new people. She’s also a big fan of car rides—especially when they end in something fun like a pup cup. She has adjusted beautifully in her foster home and continues to improve physically each day. Bella is proof that resilience and love can shine through even the hardest beginnings. She’s now ready to leave her past behind and step into the forever home she has always deserved.

Ideal Home

Arabella would thrive in a home where she can be close to her people and soak up love. She does great with other dogs and cats, making her a wonderful fit for many types of homes.

Arabella is recovering from skin and coat issues related to her past living conditions, but she is improving physically each day.

Training & Support

Arabella is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on leash. Her temperament is gentle and easygoing.
