Benny is a handsome 4-4.5-year-old neutered male Australian Cattle Dog mix, weighing between 45-50 pounds. He’s a bundle of sweet, water-loving, and playful fun! Benny’s story is one of resilience; he ended up at a rural shelter through no fault of his own. He’s up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, crate trained, and fully potty trained, making him a well-adjusted companion. Benny’s true passion is frisbee – he’s a champion mid-air catcher! He’s smart, loves to run and jump, and would thrive in an active, playful home.
Ideal Home
Benny would be a perfect fit for an active individual or family who can keep up with his love for play, especially frisbee! He enjoys splashing in the water and would likely be happiest in a home where he can engage in these activities. He gets along well with medium to large dogs, both male and female, and has even been known to act as a peacemaker. Cats are unknown. While he enjoys canine companionship, he would also be happy as an only dog. He does not do well with tie-outs or electric fences.

Benny is up to date on vaccinations and is heartworm negative.
Training & Support
Benny is crate trained and fully potty trained. He rides well in the car and does not experience separation anxiety when left alone. His previous adoption was unfortunately impacted by an improper introduction to another male dog, but he has since shown no issues playing appropriately with dogs his size or larger in his current environment.
