Robbie

Meet Robbie! He's a sweet and silly boy just under a year old, weighing in at 35lbs. Robbie has completed a 3-week board and train program that has helped him gain confidence and polish his skills. He's doing wonderfully in his foster home and is ready to find his perfect forever family! Robbie is a playful pup who loves to snuggle after a good play session. He enjoys durable toys that can withstand some serious chewing, though he's not a fan of tennis balls. He greets new people with a wagging tail and soulful eyes, revealing his incredibly sweet nature. He thrives when he has a canine best friend to play with and will often gravitate towards shared spaces to be near his furry companion, always with supervision.

Ideal Home

Robbie would love a home with a fenced yard where he can safely romp and play. He also enjoys the company of a steady, confident, and non-threatening dog who can help him feel secure.

Ongoing Health

Robbie is up-to-date on vaccinations. He is not yet neutered, but is eligible for low-cost neutering through the NJ Low Cost Spay/Neuter Grant Program.

Training & Support

Robbie is crate-trained, potty-trained, and walks well on a leash. As with any puppy, he can be mischievous, so keeping shoes and other tempting items out of reach will be important. He'll need some gentle guidance to learn what's fair game and what's not. Due to his past experiences on the streets, he can be reactive to aggressive dogs but is very good with gentle, non-threatening dogs. Providing a safe and understanding environment will allow him to relax and truly thrive.
