Lulu

Lulu is a 5-year-old, 26-pound, spayed female French Bulldog with a big personality! She's had a few homes and is now ready to find her forever family who understands her special needs as a brachycephalic breed. Lulu is full of charm and typical Frenchie grunts, grumbles, and silly antics. She's a low to moderate energy girl who enjoys short bursts of play but is equally happy to lounge nearby and soak up your attention. Her absolute favorite thing is people, and she's a generous kiss-giver!

Ideal Home

Lulu has shown she does best with dogs her size or smaller, and seems to prefer male canine companions. While her history with cats is unknown, she might do well with children 10 and older who can respect her space and needs. Lulu is sensitive to heat and cold due to her flat face and will need a home that understands her physical limitations.

Ongoing Health

As a French Bulldog, Lulu may be prone to breathing or other medical issues as she ages. Her future family should be prepared, both mentally and financially, to provide for her long-term care, even if she never experiences these issues.

Training & Support

Lulu is fully housebroken, crates well, and has great house manners. She doesn't show signs of resource guarding or separation anxiety and is not a big barker. She walks well on a leash and enjoys short outings, but not in extreme weather.

Transporation

Lulu is currently in Houston, Texas. She can be transported once an adopter is approved. Transports run every few weeks.
