Meet Helena!
Helena is a gorgeous 7-year-old black tri Australian Shepherd with a beautiful thick coat, a larger-than-life personality, and a smile that will absolutely steal your heart. This lovable girl is equal parts confident, goofy, and affectionate. Helena's favorite activities include leaning against her people, flopping over dramatically for belly rubs, and soaking up as much attention as possible. If you're willing to give scratches, she's willing to be your best friend. One of her most endearing traits is her famous "Aussie smile" – when she's happy or excited, she'll flash her teeth in a grin that never fails to make people laugh. Helena is a social butterfly who loves being around her people and isn't shy about asking for affection. She has a joyful spirit and a wonderful sense of humor that brings smiles wherever she goes. Helena has always lived with other dogs, and therefore will need another dog in the home. As a naturally confident dog, Helena tends to see herself as the leader of the pack. Because of this, she would do best with a laid-back, easygoing canine companion who is happy to let her take charge. After all, life is just better when someone is always smiling at you, and Helena smiles all the time.
