While Sitka's behavior in the shelter is a snapshot and may change in a home, she's ready for her forever family. Remember that adjusting to a new environment can take time. We encourage you to learn about the Husky breed to best understand her needs. Using the "Rule of 3" can help her settle in:

• First 3 days: She may feel scared, tired, overexcited, or not want to eat.
• First 3 weeks: She'll start learning routines and may show new behaviors. Keep things calm and avoid busy places.
• First 3 months: She'll usually feel settled and more comfortable.

• Cat tests are available upon request to check for clear aggression. Please remember to always be careful when introducing dogs to cats.
