Chiquita

Chiquita is a shy but sweet 5.5-year-old chocolate Min Pin, weighing in at 11 lbs. She was born during a time of limited socialization, which has made her a bit hesitant with new people. However, once Chiquita warms up to you, she becomes incredibly devoted and will be your constant companion! Her foster family describes her as a dog whose personality truly blossoms with patience and understanding. She's an energetic girl who loves to run and play, and would absolutely thrive with a canine playmate.

Ideal Home

Chiquita needs a quiet, adult-only home with a securely fenced yard, as she doesn't do well on a leash and can escape harnesses. A low-traffic environment where she doesn't have to meet strangers frequently would be ideal. She also enjoys the company of other small, playful dogs.

Training & Support

Chiquita is crate-trained and house-trained when kept on a schedule. She can be exuberant in play, so she would benefit from a confident dog sibling to help guide her. Her adopters should be prepared to invest time and patience in building her trust. She is welcome to stay with her foster family even after adoption if her new family needs to travel or has an emergency.
