Meet Ziva! This stunning 3-year-old, 80-pound Rottweiler is looking for a patient and experienced owner who understands her need for a gentle introduction. Ziva's world changed when her beloved owner passed away, and she spent weeks outdoors before finding safety in a foster home. While she's a bit of a "slow burn," her sweetness and devotion are well worth the wait. Once she trusts you, she's a wonderful companion who loves to snuggle and enjoy car rides.

Ideal Home

Ziva would do best in a home without children, as she needs time to warm up to people and is sensitive to being touched near her ears or tail. An experienced Rottweiler owner who can provide a calm and consistent environment will help Ziva thrive. While she can be cat-friendly and has lived with multiple cats, she would prefer a home without other dogs or with an owner experienced in slow introductions.

Ziva is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Ziva can be a puller on leash and would benefit from continued leash training. She is reactive to other dogs, bikers, and joggers on walks. She exhibits some resource guarding and should be fed separately. Ziva is fully potty trained and free-roams in her foster home, but her foster parent has "dog-proofed" the house. She sometimes uses her crate to rest but has not been crated securely.
