Riggs

Riggs is a nine-month-old Anatolian Shepherd who came to us from a hoarding situation with over 40 dogs. While he was cared for, the sheer number of animals meant he's still learning the ropes of everyday life. Riggs is a sweet, gentle, and shy boy who prefers a calm environment and needs a little time to adjust to new situations. He's a natural introvert and takes things at his own pace.

Ideal Home

Riggs would thrive in a home with a friendly, confident dog who can be a positive role model for him. He also needs a securely fenced yard for his safety and comfort, as he's not a fan of loud noises or sudden commotion. Because of his shy nature, Riggs would do best in a home with children over 10 who are calm and respectful. He's not suited for a home with boisterous younger children who might overwhelm him.
