Oso Burrito Boy

Oso is a 5-year-old German Shepherd/Hound mix with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. He doesn't give his love away easily, but once he chooses you, you become his whole world. He's a gentle, quiet boy who transforms into the sweetest love bug when he's around his favorite people, soaking up pets and reminding you daily how much he adores you. Oso is wonderfully low-maintenance and low-energy, dreaming of a comfy place to nap, leisurely walks, occasional car rides, and his favorite humans nearby. He's an excellent companion, not needing constant entertainment, and has truly mastered the art of relaxing.

Ideal Home

Oso can be a little shy when meeting new people, and unfamiliar situations can make him nervous. He thrives when allowed to move at his own pace and appreciates patience, kindness, and tasty treats to help his personality bloom.

Training & Support

Oso is an excellent passenger and rides beautifully in the car, making him a great co-pilot for any adventure. He lives peacefully alongside other dogs and has excellent canine manners, being respectful and drama-free. He also showed wonderful promise around cats, preferring to mind his own business and give them space.

Transporation

Oso is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Transport includes real-time tracking, photo updates, and a private Facebook event page for connection with fellow adopters and fosters. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
