Hi! I'm Lucy, a lovable, loyal, and lively pup looking for my forever home! I'm a super friendly puppy who adores affection and belly rubs. My favorite pastime is playing with my toys, especially the ones filled with treats. I'm already crate and potty trained, and I learn very quickly, especially when treats are involved! I've mastered all the basic cues and even a few more. I love spending time outdoors and am currently working on my leash-walking skills. I've had a few doggy playdates and would be happy to have a canine companion or be your one and only furry friend. I would do best in a home with children aged 12 and older.

Ideal Home

I would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard where I can roam, explore, and run to my heart's content. My ideal family will shower me with love, affection, and plenty of belly rubs. Patience is key as I continue to learn and build confidence, especially with my resource guarding. I'd love a family eager to continue my training, take me out to socialize, and embark on fun adventures like walks and hikes.

Ongoing Health

I was rescued from a situation where I had to compete for food, which led to some resource guarding tendencies. I'm making great progress and learning that I will always have enough to eat. My new family should understand this past behavior and be patient as I continue to gain confidence in this area.

Training & Support

I'm a very smart puppy who loves to learn, especially with food rewards! I'm working on my excitement-induced jumping and puppy nipping when I greet people. I'm eager to please and will do great with consistent training and positive reinforcement.
