Coconut Donut - Local Boy

Meet Coconut Donut, a charming 2-year-old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix weighing around 18 pounds! This spunky guy is from the "Donut" litter, a group of Shorkies who were rescued from a difficult situation in western Massachusetts. The police found them in an abandoned home, and thankfully, our rescue stepped in to give them a second chance at a happy life. After a much-needed grooming session thanks to Petco, Coconut Donut is ready to find his forever home!

Coconut Donut is the life of the party! He's a fun-loving pup who enjoys playing games, chasing balls, and being your ultimate companion. He's not a fan of crates and will bark if confined, but he promises to be a quick study for house training if he can sleep with you in bed.

Ideal Home

Coconut Donut would love a home where he can be a cherished member of the family. He enjoys the company of other dogs and has lived happily with cats in the past.

Ongoing Health

Coconut Donut has received vaccinations and necessary medical attention. He is up to date on vaccinations and will be neutered at the time of adoption.

Training & Support

While Coconut Donut isn't housebroken yet, he's eager to learn with your guidance. He has expressed his dislike for crates, so a home that allows him to sleep in bed with his people would be ideal for his training success. All dogs require professional training to become their best selves.
