Olivia

Olivia is a sweet and affectionate female Weimaraner mix, about 2-3 years old and weighing around 40 lbs. She was rescued in Saltillo, Mexico, after being found in a dire condition, possibly with a spinal or hip injury, and abandoned by her previous owners. Despite her past struggles, Olivia is a happy, funny, and incredibly grateful dog who enjoys every bit of comfort and love she receives. She's an independent soul who doesn't let her condition slow her down one bit, always eager to shower her family with affection and cheer them up.

Ideal Home

Olivia would do best as the only dog in the home. She needs a family willing to give her at least 3 months to fully adjust and show her best personality. A home with a fenced backyard is preferred.

Ongoing Health

Olivia may have a past spinal or hip injury, but it doesn't hinder her joyful spirit. She is spayed, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, and tested negative for heartworm. She receives monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention (Nexgard Spectra).

Training & Support

Olivia is not house-trained. Her foster family has been unable to provide extensive house-training due to the high number of rescued pets they care for. She will need a patient and understanding family with experience in dog behavior and training.

Transporation

Olivia is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast. Transportation to the adopter's home address is available for an additional fee.
