Albi is an adult Great Pyrenees/Akbash mix who was nearly euthanized for protecting others. This large, neutered, vaccinated, house-trained boy enjoys couch time, loves walks, and takes his guardian role seriously. He has been in foster care for over a year and is closely bonded with Savannah; they must be adopted together.

Ideal Home

Albi needs a home far from a road because he dislikes cars and may chase them. He can potentially live with cats after very slow introductions, though he will chase cats that run. He is good with other dogs after proper introductions. Because he is protective of his space and people, he needs an adopter who appreciates his guardian instincts.

Training & Support

• Albi is learning not to pull on walks.
• His foster family is working with him on chasing cars.
• He has improved with food aggression but should still be fed separately.
