He's a 5-year-old, 62lb Lab/pittie mix (though breed and age are not guaranteed in rescues) who forms instant, genuine connections, becoming your shadow and favorite part of coming home. His affection is pure, expressed through snuggles and happy companionship.
Ideal Home
Zeus would flourish in a home where his humans are present often, whether working from home or as a stay-at-home parent. He adores human interaction and snuggling up with his favorite people. While he's adaptable and does well when his humans are away for longer periods, his happiest self is with you. He's also dog-friendly and would do well with a calm, medium-energy female dog who enjoys relaxing as much as playing. However, if you don't have other pets, Zeus would be equally content being your one and only, soaking up all your attention. He does need a home without cats.
Ongoing Health
Zeus is a healthy boy. All vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and preventative medications, is up to date.
Training & Support
Zeus is a well-mannered gentleman who knows basic commands like "sit" and walks beautifully on a leash. He is both crate and potty trained and is trusted to be left alone. He navigates stairs with ease and is adaptable to apartment living, but would also love a home with a backyard.

Zeus is currently located in Texas. We offer nationwide transport through our USDA-certified system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Please note that adopters in the Greater Houston area must pick up their pets locally. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
