Ongoing Health

These puppies will be wormed and confirmed worm free, receive their first vaccinations, and will be checked by a veterinarian. Their tails have been docked and dew claws removed.

Training & Support

As puppies, they will benefit from consistent training and socialization to help them grow into well-adjusted adult dogs.

Meet Johnny and Melanie Gwaltney: Blessed Boxers of Southern Illinois. We are Johnny and Melanie Gwaltney, and we are from Southern Illinois. We have been breeding Boxers since 2021. We raise our pups in our home until they go to their forever homes. They are loved and well socialized for the first 8 weeks of their lives. We take pride and joy in each pup and only allow them to go to families that guarantee that they will be an inside pet, given room to run and play, and will become a member of their family. Each pup will have their tail docked, dew claws removed, be wormed and confirmed worm free, and have their first vaccinations. We send them with a bag of the puppy food they are currently eating and a blanket. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.
