ANGUS-Big Puppy

Angus is a big, goofy puppy who's looking for a home to remind you to play more and work less! He was found wandering near a local creek with his mom, Gloria, and brought to the Hico Animal Shelter. Now vetted and ready for his forever family, Angus is a neutered male Bullmastiff mix puppy, around 6 months old and already weighing over 60 lbs. He's going to be a very large dog when fully grown, so prepare for a substantial canine companion!

Ideal Home

Angus would do well in an active household with older kids. He's doggie door trained, but his housebreaking status is uncertain. He's too much for cats. A well-fenced yard is a must for this energetic pup.

Ongoing Health

Angus is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines (including rabies and Bordetella), and is heartworm negative. He is on flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives.

Training & Support

As a puppy, Angus is still learning. He's a bit chaotic on leash and enjoys chewing on it. He also tends to chew on other things, which is typical for a pup his age. He enjoys playing with other dogs but doesn't quite know his own strength yet due to his size. He can be a handful in vehicles if not properly restrained.

Angus is located in Hico, Texas. We are able to transport our dogs North outside of Texas to their new families using trusted, reputable transport services.
