About Nala

Nala is a friendly, affectionate, and people-oriented adult Doberman Pinscher who is eager to be with her family. She's well-socialized with dogs, children, and unfamiliar people, and is comfortable meeting new friends. Nala enjoys companionship and being close to her people. She has completed a full year of obedience training and is familiar with basic commands and household routines. While she does well around children now, she can sometimes knock over smaller children when she gets excited. Nala loves car rides, playing fetch, and finds comfort in suckling on blankets. She is a submissive dog and often the more submissive one during play. Nala is fully house-trained and thrives with structure, routine, and companionship.

Ideal Home

A home that understands her need for structure and routine would be ideal for Nala. Due to her tendency to jump and lick when excited, a home with very young, small children might require extra supervision.

Ongoing Health

Nala is spayed, but her vaccinations are not currently up to date. She is also a bit thin at the moment, but her food intake has been increased.

Training & Support

Nala has had extensive obedience training and is familiar with basic commands. She experiences anxiety when left alone, so she is safest and most comfortable when crated while her family is away. She is typically crated overnight, but this is not a requirement if she can sleep in the same room as you.
