Meet Izzy – a sweet, snuggly, and utterly adorable female American Bulldog! She's about 3.5 years old and lives in the Metro Atlanta area. Izzy absolutely adores her humans and just wants to be by your side, following you around and curiously investigating everything you do because she loves to be a part of your life! She enjoys her afternoon walks, happily sniffing and grunting at the world around her. She's also perfectly content to curl up at your feet for a nap, especially since she doesn't require a lot of exercise and prefers to stay cool indoors when it's hot. Izzy loves playing with sticks, though she's still mastering the art of letting go after a good chase! She's a champion napper and can happily entertain herself with chew toys or by simply sleeping deeply. In fact, she's such a sound sleeper that you might need to give her a gentle nudge to let her know you're home.
Izzy is a pro at being house-trained and will let you know when she's ready to come back inside after a potty break. She's very food-motivated and will patiently wait for permission before diving into her meals. She's also undergone professional training and knows several hand signals for commands like sit, paw, come, and bedtime. She's never had an accident inside and has only ever chewed on her toys!
While Izzy is incredibly affectionate with people, she's not comfortable around other dogs, so she'd thrive best in a pet-free home. She's unfazed by other dogs on leash and doesn't bark often, making her a great candidate for condo living. Izzy has a typical American Bulldog short nose, which leads to some funny noises as she ambles about. She's a dream to handle, tolerating paw touches for nail trims and even enjoying being held! Anyone who meets Izzy is charmed by her sweetness. She's an easy-going, lovable girl who deserves a wonderful forever home.
