Diesel Donut, a vibrant Pittie mix, is a 48-pound bundle of joy who's about 2 years old. He's a master of mini-zoomies, loves to play fetch (often with himself!), and has a contagious happiness that's sure to brighten your days. Diesel is the perfect mix of playful energy and sweet affection, always ready to be your loyal shadow or a slightly oversized lap-dog.
Ideal Home
Diesel would thrive in a home with a yard where he can freely play and enjoy his toys. While he could adapt to apartment living with sufficient exercise, a yard would be his ideal setting. He walks well on a leash in less distracting environments and shows great manners when meeting new people. However, he can get excited and bark at other dogs, though he is receptive to gentle corrections and boundaries. He is dog-friendly and would do best with a confident, playful female dog who can match his energy, but he could also be a happy only-dog. He should not be placed in a home with cats, as he enjoys chasing them.
Ongoing Health
Diesel is a healthy young dog. All vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, has been completed. He has also had a heartworm test and treatment if needed.
Training & Support
Diesel is house-trained and crate-trained, settling down nicely overnight with only occasional whining. He is still young and will benefit from ongoing training, structure, and playtime. He is receptive to learning boundaries and corrections, and with consistent guidance, he will quickly learn what is expected of him.

Diesel is currently fostered in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
