Prepare yourself for an overwhelming amount of fluff! Maximilian is a 2-month-old puppy who looks like a cross between a teddy bear and a baby polar bear. He's currently weighing around 10 lbs and we believe he might be a Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix, but with rescue, it's always a mystery! Maximilian is playful, incredibly sweet, loves toys, and is a champion cuddler. He balances playtime and snuggle time perfectly, and his favorite moments involve having fun or soaking up affection. This little guy is still discovering the world, and his future family will have the joy of experiencing his firsts with him.
Ideal Home
Maximilian needs a family ready for all the joys and challenges of puppyhood. He thrives on routine, consistency, and lots of positive experiences.
Ongoing Health
Maximilian has received age-appropriate vetting, including DAPP vaccines with a booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccine. He has also undergone multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and received a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. He has been tested for heartworm and treated if necessary. A health certificate deeming him healthy for travel is included.
Training & Support
Maximilian will need continued socialization and training. We require adopters to begin crate training immediately to aid in potty training, independence, and managing puppy energy. Our on-site trainers assess and work with all our dogs, providing them with individualized behavior plans, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking, to prepare them for their future families.

Transportation
Maximilian is currently in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
