Groot is the Head of the Welcome Committee and Self-Appointed Assistant Manager of your household! This 45-pound, long-legged goober has somehow convinced himself that he has important jobs to do, and he's here to tackle them with enthusiasm. Whether you're making breakfast, taking out the trash, or simply walking around the yard, Groot is right there, supervising and ensuring everything is in order. He's a delightful mix of backyard explorer, quality control specialist, and morale officer. His enormous ears are a marvel, capable of picking up the faintest sounds, and he'll often give you a look that says, "Don't worry, I've got this."
Groot absolutely thrives outdoors, spending his days exploring, sniffing every inch of the yard, and keeping a close eye on the local wildlife. He has a playful spirit and will happily engage in zoomies with other dogs. Speaking of other dogs, Groot LOVES them! He makes instant friends and would be thrilled to have a canine companion in his forever home to wrestle, explore, and nap with. He's a truly sweet dog who is not clingy, playful without being chaotic, and funny without even trying. He has a way of gently wrapping himself around your life, becoming the reason you smile when you pull into the driveway and the reason your house feels full.

Groot would love a home with another playful dog to be his companion. Homes with children 10 years and older are recommended to ensure the best fit.
