Mondo

Mondo is a stunning Australian Shepherd mix with a striking charcoal grey coat, white belly, and spotted legs. At 5-6 years old and around 50-55lbs, he's a lively boy who loves to run and play. He's up-to-date on all shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Mondo is house-trained and crate-trained, and he enjoys the company of medium to large dogs, both male and female. He's a happy, food-motivated companion who thrives on activity and interaction. Mondo rides well in the car and enjoys relaxing on the couch for cuddles and movies.

Ideal Home

Mondo is an active dog who needs regular exercise such as walks, hikes, or camping. He is not suited for apartment living or as "yard art." He would do well as an only dog or with a canine companion. He can live with a family with school-aged children, a couple, or a single person who will include him in their daily life. Mondo cannot be tethered on a tie-out or live in a home with an electric fence.

Ongoing Health

Mondo is neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations. He is heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Mondo knows basic commands and is eager to learn more. He is not off-leash trained. While he had issues with fence climbing in a previous environment due to lack of exercise, his current foster home has not experienced any such issues. Consistent exercise and engagement are key to his well-being.
