Meet Petunia! This sweet, social 11-month-old Lab mix puppy is looking for an active family to call her own. Petunia is a loving and adaptable pup who thrives in busy family life. She comes from an area with high shelter euthanasia rates, so by adopting her, you're saving a life and making space for another dog in need. Petunia is playful, curious, and affectionate, enjoying romps in the snow and cozy cuddles with her people. She's gentle with young children and comfortable around cats.

Ideal Home

Petunia would thrive in a home ready for the fun and adventure of raising a puppy. She would love a family that enjoys spending time together, whether playing outside, going for walks, or relaxing at home. She'd enjoy having a canine sibling, but would also be happy as an only dog.

Ongoing Health

Petunia is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention. She has been spayed and microchipped.

Training & Support

Petunia is a young puppy who will need a family committed to ongoing training and socialization. We require adoptive families to crate train their puppy immediately upon arrival, which aids in potty training, energy management, and developing a well-balanced adult dog.

Transporation

Petunia is currently in Indianapolis, IN. We offer transport nationwide via our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pickup is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
