This sweet girl is Oreo! Oreo is a 7-year-old dog who found herself in a high-kill shelter in Houston. We don't know her full backstory, but we do know she's incredibly healthy and well-trained, suggesting she had a loving home for her first seven years. Thankfully, a foster stepped up, and we were able to save her with just minutes to spare. Now, Oreo is ready for her second chance at a happy life!
Oreo is the ultimate co-pilot, loving car rides and readily hopping in for any adventure. She's perfectly potty trained and walks beautifully on a leash, striking a wonderful balance between playful and chill. She enjoys energetic zoomies in the yard with a toy but is equally content lounging nearby, enjoying your company. Her gentle, loving nature is evident in everything she does, especially when she flops over for belly rubs whenever she can!
Ideal Home
Oreo would thrive in a variety of homes. She's currently living with dogs and cats and gets along well with them, though she prefers calm companions and isn't a fan of overly energetic dogs. Her ideal evening involves a relaxed walk followed by curling up on the couch for quality downtime with her person.
