This ridiculously handsome chocolate Lab/Staffy mix is a big, strong hunk of a dog and the sweetest, squishiest love bug you've ever met. He has the world's happiest pittie smile, soulful amber eyes, the cutest little forehead wrinkles, and enough personality to keep you smiling every single day. Ernie is the definition of a good boy: fully potty trained, crate trained, walks wonderfully on leash, knows "sit," and has fantastic house manners. He's been living with two other large dogs in his foster home and has been absolutely amazing with them. Honestly, he's the kind of dog that makes you wonder how he's still waiting for a family.
Ernie's absolute favorite thing in the world? His people! He's a lover through and through and wants to be wherever his favorite humans are, whether you're sitting down, relaxing outside, or enjoying the weather on the patio. He just wants to be included. When he's not showering you with affection, Ernie has a unique talent for "splooting" – laying completely flat on the ground. He also adores his stuffed toys, proudly parading them around like priceless treasures. He's a social butterfly with other dogs and loves a good game of chase, but he also has an incredible off-switch, happy to curl up beside you for a quiet evening. Ernie was wonderful with children, showing just how gentle he is.
