Izzy is a sweet, shy boy who warms up quickly and loves to play! He can be a little unsure at first, especially around new people and dogs, but with a little patience and time, he blossoms into a goofy, lovable companion. Izzy has overcome a lot, having arrived at the shelter emaciated and unwell. He's now on the mend, gaining weight, and showing more of his wonderful personality. He enjoys treats, seeks out affection from those he trusts, and has a beautiful smile and wagging tail.

Ideal Home

Izzy would do best in a home with another dog that matches his energy level. He would also thrive with respectful children aged 10 and up.

Ongoing Health

Izzy is currently underweight and on a re-feeding schedule with a slow feeder. He has finished his medications and is recovering well. All rescue dogs are vaccinated, altered, and micro-chipped.

Training & Support

Izzy is working on his leash manners and continues to improve as his confidence grows. He will benefit from a family willing to help him continue building confidence and provide him with a stable, loving home.
