About Cally

Cally is a 3.5-year-old, spayed female Pitbull mix who weighs about 40 pounds. She's a high-energy, happy-go-lucky girl with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. Cally is playful, affectionate, curious, and endlessly kind, the type of dog who brings joy and laughter everywhere she goes. She has a charming trait of giving the biggest, silliest smile when receiving affection and is a world-class cuddler. Sometimes she gets spontaneous zoomies and runs so fast she looks like a baby goat flying through the house!

Ideal Home

Cally would thrive in a home that can keep up with her energy and continue her training. She loves playing with other dogs of all sizes and would enjoy a canine companion, though it's not required. She is excellent with kids of all ages and is very welcoming to strangers. If invited onto the couch, she behaves perfectly to keep her spot!

Ongoing Health

Cally is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. She is house-trained and crate-trained.

Training & Support

Cally may pull on the leash initially out of excitement, but with continued leash training, she will shine even more. She is still learning to have full freedom indoors and needs supervision to prevent her from getting into shoes or blankets. Cally needs to be separated from other dogs at mealtime due to resource guarding around food, though she is not uncomfortable with humans. Feeding her in her crate works well for stress-free mealtimes. She does best sleeping alone in her crate at night.
