Skipper

Skipper is a sporty and energetic pup who loves to play fetch! She's been with us for a little over two years and has overcome trauma to her front leg, which has since been amputated. Skipper is now fully healed and her wonderful personality has blossomed. She's a black and white tripod who is perfect for a baseball or softball fan, as she can play fetch for hours! When she's tired, Skipper loves to cuddle up close to her people.

Ideal Home

Skipper would do best as the only pet in the home as she is not good with other dogs or cats. She may need some extra time to warm up to new people, but treats and a ball should help her feel comfortable.

Ongoing Health

Skipper has fully healed from her leg amputation.

Training & Support

Skipper is learning basic commands like sit, down, and leave it. She needs more training on leash walking, but responds well to a head halter and redirection with treats.
