Macy

My name is Macy, and I'm 5 years old. I arrived at a shelter with my babies, underweight and heartworm positive. I survived more than I should have, but I'm now safe and finally have a second chance. I'm a soft, gentle, and quiet girl who prefers sunbathing and a cozy bed. I'm crate trained, potty trained, and house trained, though I might be tempted by counter snacks. I ride well in the car and walk nicely on a leash, though squirrels and birds can be exciting! I love slow strolls and quiet company. I get along with my foster sister but prefer cuddling over wrestling. My tail wags when people are kind, and I soak up praise. I'm just waiting for someone to choose me.

A calm, quiet home where I can continue to learn that life doesn't have to be scary or loud.

Ongoing Health

I was heartworm positive, but have received treatment. All of our dogs receive age-appropriate vaccines, are seen by a veterinarian, are dewormed, microchipped, and are on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

I'm crate trained, potty trained, and house trained. I walk nicely on a leash but can get excited by squirrels and birds. I might be tempted by counter snacks.
