Meet Pepe Le Pew! This adorable 9-week-old (estimated DOB March 2026) Chihuahua/Terrier mix is currently around 3 pounds and ready to steal your heart! Pepe and his siblings were found abandoned, but this little masked bandit is now safe and sound in a foster home in Austin, Texas. He's a cuddle bug who loves naps, puppy kisses, and cozy snuggles, preferring to charm his way through life rather than cause trouble. Pepe is a sweet, gentle boy who thrives on love and affection.
Ideal Home
Pepe is a brave and social pup who we believe will do well with children, cats, and other dogs when introduced properly. Because of his small size, any resident pets should be gentle and experienced with very small dogs, and all interactions must be supervised. As a young puppy, Pepe cannot be left alone for long periods. We are looking for a home where someone is home more often than not to help with his socialization, training, and care. If you work outside the home for more than 4 hours at a time, we will not consider your application unless another adult in the household will be available to care for him during the day.

Training & Support
Pepe is still mastering potty and crate training. Consistency, frequent potty breaks, positive reinforcement, and patience will be key to his success. Puppies thrive with structure, routine, and supervision, and Pepe is no exception.

Transportation
Pepe is currently located in Austin, Texas. He can be transported to his new home once approved and matched with an adopter. Transport runs every few weeks, and he will be on the next available transport.
