Raksha

Raksha is a beautiful, approximately 2 1/2-year-old female dog weighing around 35 lbs, originally from Aruba. She's already spayed and microchipped, and has had her initial vetting. Raksha is a loving mama who was rescued from the bushes in Aruba with her very young newborns. She proved to be a wonderful mother, and now it's her time to shine and find her own forever home! Raksha has a balanced low to medium energy level, enjoys the outdoors, and is a social butterfly. She's good with other dogs and may be okay with cats, though she does find them fun to chase, so any cat introductions will require time and careful management. Raksha is also a fantastic model for photos and absolutely loves belly rubs. She even gets the zoomies, which is just adorable! She is incredibly lovable and we're still learning more about her as she's a new rescue.

Ideal Home

Raksha would love an active home where she can enjoy the outdoors. Given her playful interest in cats, a home prepared to take things slow with introductions would be best.

Raksha is a new rescue, so continued positive reinforcement training and socialization will help her continue to thrive.
