Sadie

Sadie is a beautiful, three-year-old Australian Shepherd who has been with us since June 2024. She initially had a challenging time adjusting and making friends, but thanks to the dedication of our Rescue Walkers, she's learning to trust humans and other dogs. Sadie loves going on walks and is showing great improvement in her interactions. She came to us from the Las Cruces AS, and while we don't have background information, we know she's ready for a second chance. Sadie just needs a little more time and patience to truly blossom. We're working with her to see if she'd like a canine companion and to understand her motivations, and we've seen her respond well to some of our staff.

Ideal Home

Sadie is still learning to navigate new relationships, but she's making significant progress. A patient and understanding home where she can continue to build confidence would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Sadie is spayed, vaccinated, and has been tested for heartworm. Her adoption fee includes these vital services.

Training & Support

Sadie is not yet house-trained and may need ongoing guidance and consistency to learn. She is treat-motivated, which will be a great asset in her training journey.
