Copper is a 3-year-old Boxer mix with a personality as vibrant and playful as the breed is known for. He's full of life, always up for an adventure, and has a knack for making everyday moments hilarious. Whether he's proudly parading his favorite toy, practically vibrating with excitement for a walk, or sporting those classic, funny Boxer expressions, Copper is sure to bring endless smiles. He enjoys long walks, spirited games of tug, exploring new surroundings, and cherishing time with his favorite humans. While he might be a bit reserved when first meeting new people, his shyness quickly melts away, and he's soon seeking attention and making fast friends. Once he welcomes you into his circle, he's an affectionate and devoted companion who wants to be part of all your activities.
Copper's path to finding his forever home hasn't been without its challenges. He arrived at the shelter at only six months old and spent a significant portion of his young life waiting for his chance. Despite a difficult past and a near-miss with euthanasia, Copper has maintained a joyful spirit and an unwavering love for life.

Copper would thrive as the sole dog in the home, allowing him to receive all the love and attention he deserves. This setup will help him continue to build confidence, especially as he missed out on crucial early socialization opportunities while growing up in the shelter.
