JOEY

Joey is a super cute, approximately 2-year-old pup with golden tan fur and beautiful green eyes. He's a sweet, energetic, and playful boy who loves being with people, snuggling up, and going on walks. Joey enjoys playtime with his foster siblings, especially a larger female dog he lives with. He's a well-behaved companion who walks nicely on a leash and knows basic commands like sit, stay, and down. He even waits patiently for his food! Joey is crate trained for workdays and nights and hasn't shown any destructive tendencies indoors.

Ideal Home

Joey would do best in a home without small pets. He would enjoy another dog his size or larger to play with, but he would also be happy as an only dog since he loves people and would appreciate having you all to himself!

Ongoing Health

Joey is currently heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment. He is still adoptable during this time.

Training & Support

Joey walks well on a leash, knows basic commands (sit, stay, down), and is crate trained. He's not shown any destructive behaviors indoors.
