Meet Lacey, a petite powerhouse of adventures and cuddles! This approximately year-and-a-half-old, 31-pound bundle of joy is possibly a boxer/terrier mix, and her perfect blend of traits makes her an absolute gem. Lacey is the ideal size for any adventure, big enough to join you on hikes and small enough to curl up with you on the couch. She's a social butterfly with impeccable manners, effortlessly fitting into any group dynamic. Whether it's with big dogs, goofy dogs, confident dogs, or even cats, Lacey handles every interaction with grace and ease. She's a true diplomat, maintaining balance and showing remarkable emotional regulation, stepping away when needed and happily rejoining when ready.
Ideal Home
Lacey would thrive in a variety of homes. She could do well with playful dog siblings or as an only dog soaking up all the attention. She's adaptable enough for apartment living with an active family or would love a home with a backyard for zooming. While she did great with cats during her assessment, slow introductions or a cat test are recommended. She hasn't met kids yet but shows all signs of being a very family-friendly companion, and a kid-test can be arranged.

Lacey is a healthy, well-vetted pup. She is up-to-date on all vaccinations and has received preventative care.
Training & Support
Lacey is crate trained and treat-motivated. She walks beautifully on leash and responds well to guidance. Her calm demeanor inside the house makes her an easy companion to live with.

Lacey is located in Texas. Transport is available nationwide to various drop-off locations including WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Adopters can track their pet's journey in real-time. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
