A little about them

Meet Sherlock, a big-hearted Irish Wolfhound/Labrador Retriever mix with a funny, affectionate, loyal personality. This young, energetic boy was rescued from a shelter and has thrived in foster care alongside kids, dogs, puppies, and goats. He is ready for a patient, loving forever home.

Sherlock is fully vetted, neutered, vaccinated, and ready to go. He is currently in foster care in North Bergen, New Jersey.

Ideal Home

Sherlock is wonderful with children and has spent time with a 7-year-old. Because he is a large boy still learning personal space and keeping all four paws on the floor, older children would be a great match. He gets along especially well with dogs and puppies, but becomes too wound up around cats, so a feline-free home is the right fit.

Ongoing Health

Sherlock is fully vetted and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Sherlock is young and energetic and is still growing up. His family should be prepared to offer patience, love, and continued guidance with personal space and keeping four paws on the floor.
