My name is Myrtle! I'm a 6-month-old female mixed breed, likely with some Kelpie or German Shepherd in me, weighing about 30lbs and likely to stay that size. I arrived at the shelter with my sisters, Mable and Daisy, and another litter. Don't worry, our mom has been spayed thanks to the shelter's help!

I used to be quite the bouncy pup, with energy that could power a small city! I have springs in my feet and would make an amazing frisbee dog. The wonderful volunteers have been working with me to keep all four paws on the ground, and now I'm eager to show off my "sit" for a tasty reward. I'm very food-motivated and love a good game of "search." I even got lots of compliments on my good behavior at a recent adoption event! If you've ever been curious about dog sports like Obedience, Rally, Flyball, or Agility, I have the perfect personality and drive to learn. I'm limber and ready to go! I'm also a confident girl and would make a great companion for a trip to the coffee shop or brunch.

Ideal Home

A home that can keep up with my energy and enthusiasm would be ideal! I'd love to participate in dog sports or just be your active companion.

Ongoing Health

My adoption fee includes a voucher for my spay surgery.

Training & Support

I'm very food-motivated and eager to please, which makes training a lot of fun! I'm learning to keep all four paws on the ground, and I'm happy to offer a "sit" for rewards. I also enjoy "search" games.
